GLENS FALLS, N.Y., January 29, 2025, — Barton International (Barton) has entered into a partnership with Nordic Mining ASA that will open a new source of high-quality garnet abrasive to customers worldwide. Under terms of the agreement, Barton will become the exclusive global distributor of garnet from Nordic Mining’s state-of-the art Engebø mine in Norway. The garnet, which will become available in the second quarter of 2025, will be marketed under the trade name Barton HPA and will feature co-branded packaging.
